Writing assignment: Answer two of the following questions:

1) What was the Carolingian Renaissance, and why was it significant?

2) Describe the process by which Christianity was spread in England.

3) Who was the Venerable Bede, and why was he significant?

Venerable Bede was a monk and he’s significant because he started our date system, BC and AD.

The Carolingian Renaissance was the first of three medieval renaissances. It’s significant because during that time, there was that time there was an increase of literature, writing, the arts, architecture, jurisprudence, liturgical reforms, and scriptural studies.
