Write 500 words on this topic: “According to Mark’s gospel, what was main issue dividing Jesus from the leaders of Israel?”
How is everyone doing around here and every where else too? Today is sunny with a chance of getting some gardening done today. I’ve got a tiny little garden that I made two years ago and every year I make a garden, I make it a little bigger so that in several years, it’ll be as big as our whole yard. I’m kidding. It’s won’t be that big but it won’t be anything to sneeze at. This year I ordered Thumbelina Baby Ball Carrots because they’re real small and cute and they should grow good in our soil. Here’s what they look like:
I admit, it sure doesn’t look like much bang for your buck but I think get them because I want to impress people with the look. I got them because they would grow well in our kinda rocky soil. Last year, I grew regular carrots and only a few looked right. The others all had carrot sprouts shooting out from the main root. Anyway, we should write this essay. By ‘we’, I mean me. Y’all get off scot-free. I’ve got to do this by myself. Here we go.
There are four gospels in the New Testament. The shortest one is Mark. In the gospel of Mark, the main issue that divided the leaders from Jesus was jealousy and fear. They were jealous that Jesus had so many followers and we’re not talking about Instagram. Speaking of which, there will be a really cool video about that at the end of this essay so stick around. Or just skip the essay and go straight to the end. All I’m going to say about it is that it’s johnbcrist and Trey Kennedy…combined. Could life get any better?! Barely. ‘needle screech‘ We need to get back to the subject at hand. The Jewish leaders were jealous of Jesus because he had so many people who loved him and respected him and asked him for help, thus ignoring the leaders and causing them to be jealous. They were scared of Jesus because of all the miracles he did. They knew he was a powerful person, therefore they were scared of him because he had power that they didn’t.
Here’s the really cool video I said was coming up. Don’t be offended. This is all in fun.
‘Oh look, Abraham and Isaac are heading to the mountains for a little father/son trip. What could go wrong? Wait, what’s the rope for?!” Best. Line. EVER!!
Okay, we had a great day. We discussed two of the ten greatest things in the world: Gardening and Jesus (not in that order). Comment and tell me about your garden if you have one or tell me if you want a garden and don’t have one or just comment if you live in the city so I can feel sorry for you. Have a great day and God bless you!
